The OHTO MULTI-B 2 1 is a heavyweight but easy-to-use Multi-function pen with a black and red ballpoint pen function plus a mechanical pencil function. We really love this pen for its unique function changing and great inks. It also has a nice weight and balance; giving the pen a nice feel in your hand. At least, three of us have this in our pocket now.
It changes ink by employing gravity. Rotate the pen, so the color you want is facing up, then press down on the top button to select and to retract press the button on the clip.
This multi-function pen is similar to the MULTI 2 1 but has a textured grip section that is comfortable to use, with a hexagonal barrel and a pocket clip. It is refillable with the OHTO MULTI 2 1 Multi-function Pen Refill in black, red & blue, and it takes standard 0.5mm mechanical pencil leads. Replaceable eraser under the push-button, Pentel Z2-1N is a compatible replacement.
